Describes with sketches a hypothetical life cycle of proteosoma, which he says he has sent to GHF Nuttall, discusses possible names for the stages and says that he has returned to Calcutta as no work could be done on kala-azar at the time of year. Suggests that Manson comes to Calcutta with CW Daniels and returns to England with Ross.
