DescriptionHe is delighted to hear of Ross' success with birds and advises him to try to find the human malaria mosquito. Suggests that once Ross has established the principles he should hand the details over to assistants and that entomologists should work systematically through mosquitoes to find out which ones carry malaria. Asks for specimens to reach him in time for the British Medical Association Meeting in July and says that Ross is ahead of the Americans and Italians. Warns Ross not to reveal too much of his work to Laveran, advises him on how to proceed with kala azar research and suggests that he ultimately writes a book about malaria research.
