Title
Letter

Description
Manson commiserates with Ross over his feeling of exhaustion and approves his idea of training an assistant. He suggests that Ross should apply for a grant from the British Medical Association and tells him that his application to do malaria research will keep him 'before the authorities'. He says that E Lawrie's paper shows colossal cheek and that he has refused the British Medical Journal's request to refute it in detail. He describes a case of filariasis.
