Title
Draft letter from Ross to Charles Sibthorpe, Civil Surgeon-General, Madras
Date
21/6/1895
Description
Ross is optimistic about the malaria investigation taking place at Patiala and asks Sibthorpe to use his influence with the Surgeon-General with the Government of India. He says that the Maharajah of Patiala is providing the money and that full time investigation would be more profitable than the work which he can do in his spare time. He adds that he has traced the first metamorphosis of the malaria parasite in the mosquito and hopes to write an article about it for the Indian Medical Gazette.
