Description	Papers resulting from Professor Philip Payne's work in human nutrition. Subjects range from UK based surveys such as the study into indicators of deprivation in the UK, the national menu survey of 1972, the joint DHSS survey of the elderly, BMR study of 1990 and a hypothermia survey of the elderly. Much of this work was carried out with other members of the department such as Erica Wheeler and Professor Waterlow. Much of the material originates from Philip Payne's work with international organisations such as WHO/FAO/UNICEF amongst others. This includes the JNSP study in Tanzania, policy initiatives, national nutrition planning, matters concerning agriculture, food aid evaluation and papers from international conferences.
