| Description | The Institute for the Study of Drug Dependence (ISDD), non-governmental research group researching drug dependency and advising government drugs policy. The institute was established in 1968 and in 2000 merged with SCODA (Standing Conference on Drug Abuse) to form DrugScope. Virginia Berridge was appointed a trustee for the ISDD in 1996 and held the position until her resignation in 2005.
