The Forum was set up in 1987, with the aim of ensuring co-ordination and collaboration in the field of HIV/AIDS behavioural research. Alongside the registers for 1988, 1989, 1991 and 1992 there are correspondence with the Forum Secretary, Kaye Wellings and AIDS Social History Programme Co-Director, Virginia Berridge, regarding additions to the Programme's registry entry.
