Description
The Royal Commission's report on Mauritius has announced severe cuts in the civil service, including the posts of sanitary warden and all the medical staff of the central office which shows the Commissioners indifference to sanitation and malaria, while he expects to be made redundant as sanitation is to be directed by a sanitary engineer. The Chief Medical Officer is to be chosen in England and discusses his anti-malaria work.
