Description
He has spoken to the Secretary of the Mauritius Royal Commission and they will try and get the money for the less expensive work which Ross recommends in his report on malaria in Mauritius but the expensive works will have to be held in abeyance. The head of the West Indian Department is dubious about Harrison's suitability for the council and the Colonial Office have no power in the matter
