He has been given another Rs.6000 for continuing the mosquito control work and he has been to Curepipe where there is a lot of fever among the poorer classes although in Phoenix and Vacoas there is an improvement. LG Barbeau, who has taken over the Medical Department from H Lorens, is taking a great interest in the mosquito control work and asks for JWW Stephens' opinion on the new parasites which he has discovered on geckos
