Title
Copy of a letter from Ross to CB Stewart
Date
13/2/1902
Description
Stewart has ignored his instructions and not done the work he was sent out to do. If he decided that the work was unsuitable for him he should have come back at once. If Stewart is unwilling to cooperate with the governor he cannot expect any advantages and ends the letter by saying that Stewart must either start practical work or return home and as he has £100 for practical work which he has not done he can take his salary from that and keep an exact account. Objects to Stewart's having had accounts for personal equipment sent to him as it was agreed that Stewart should pay for his himself and in future he will take instructions from the committee of the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.
