Title
Letter from Ross to Manson
Date
3/6/1899
Description
He has been busy with photographs of his specimens and will soon send Manson some lantern slides. Also been working on a syllabus for the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and his inaugural lecture, he and HE Annett hope to go to Sierra Leone during the summer to study malaria there. Suggests that Manson send someone with him and says that he will take an assistant who will stay there until the cool weather sets in if the financial support is forthcoming. The financial situation of the Liverpool School is unsound and suggests that the expedition to Sierra Leone is a joint one from both Schools.
