Description	The manuscript submitted to the Royal Society remains their property but he is prepared to write a new paper on the same material for the Royal Irish Academy and he would prefer them to publish it as it is really too specialised for Science Progress. He encloses letters of recommendation about his paper and says that the Royal Society were dubious about his notation which had been used in the paper, which the Royal Irish Academy have already published (Ross/102/28).
