| Description | The Royal Society, after keeping his paper for five months during which they sent it to three referees, has refused to publish it because of the referees opposed it. He adds H. P. Hudson has suggested that it should be offered to the London Mathematical Society and he asks MacMahon if he will do this, as he has got the manuscript back from the Royal Society and could have a copy made before returning it. |
