DescriptionRoss' calculus is the opposite way round to Grassmann's. He adds that, if it were A N Whitehead who had rejected Ross's calculus for lack of examples and then used it in his own text book, it is "curious" that Whitehead had rejected a paper of his own on the same grounds of lack of examples.
