DescriptionMowbray says that he has a patient, who was invalided home from the Zambezi with malaria, and who has since developed blackwater fever so he gave him heavy doses of quinine when the symptoms subsided. He explains that the patient had a relapse and he has given him more quinine, but that he now wonders if he should carry on or stop, and adds that Sir P Manson recommends no quinine for blackwater fever.
