Description
A Bignami is trying to detract from Ross' work but he is not to worry as he has plenty of friends in England and that ER Lankester 'is instituting a systematic investigation of the culicidae'. He says that E Lawrie 'is again on the war-path' and that the Lancet will print anything to injure himself and the proposed school of tropical medicine at Albert Dock because one of the staff of the Dreadnought is on the contributing staff.
