Description
He has persuaded the Royal Society not to send two biologists to Africa to study malaria but to include a medically qualified man and that he intends to nominate C W Daniels who should come to India first to study with Ross. A research scholar is coming from Bombay to look at Ross' work and he has had a letter from R Harvey who says that Ross' period of special duty is being extended and he will probably have a permanent research post. Advises Ross to have a professional artist to do his illustrations and says that the difference in his speech at Edinburgh as reported in the Lancet and Journal of Tropical Medicine was caused by one being taken verbatim and the other from a manuscript. Suggests that Ross looks for germinal rods in mosquito eggs.
