Description
Manson congratulates Ross on completing his cholera work and also on his papers in the Indian Medical Gazette. He says that although he has had many of Ross' last batch of mosquitoes sectioned he has not seen a flagella. He describes a case of malaria in a tuberculosis patient and his method of making blood films, advises Ross to 'not to leave hold of flagellum' and adds that he has had a letter from D Bruce in Zululand saying that tsetse fly disease is caused by trypanosomes similar to the cause of surra.
