Title
Copy of a letter from Ross to Francis Chatillon Danson, Vice-Chairman, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine
Date
2/12/1918
Description
He never had an official guarantee of a pension and that the one attached to the Chair of Tropical Medicine was not to be compared with the one he would have got from the Indian Medical Service, but he will not be pressing the matter further and had only done so in order that another official, who has been given no pension, should benefit. He has never received an apology for the misrepresentation of the work of Sir L Rogers and himself and considers this unexcelled as an example of bad science and bad manners. He has never regretted leaving the School and has no wish to be a vice-president
