TitleCopy of a letter from Ross to Boyce
Date9/5/1908
DescriptionThe late publication of reports is caused by the delay in sending them to him. Suggests that Sir Patrick Manson should be asked to explain his statement that the clinical teaching of the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine needed improvement and alleges that the small number of cases of tropical disease at the Royal Southern Hospital is caused by Elder Dempster's no longer sending their staff there in an effort to foist two of their nominees on to the staff of the School. The students come to the School for the scientific background to tropical disease rather than the clinical teaching. Also attacks Boyce for acquiescing in attempts to oppose his work and in unprofessional behaviour and criticises his knowledge of tropical medicine
