TitleMinimum Income for Healthy Living (MIHL)
Date1998-2009
DescriptionMinimum Income for Healthy Living (MIHL) was a study prompted by the introduction of the statutory UK minimum income. It was determined that there was little information regarding the health needs that a minimum wage salary should meet. The study led to further reports examining the MIHL in other population groups such as 'Older Age, England'. The purpose of MIHL was to provide a benchmark in public policy and for setting national standards in social provision. These papers consist of publications, correspondence, draft copies of reports, and lecture slides. J N Morris worked alongside academics such as A D Dangour, P Wilkinson, C Deeming, A Fletcher, A J M Donkin, D Wonderling, and E A Dowler.
