DescriptionThe Norwegian Board of Health has responsibility for the implementation of the HIV/AIDS national action policy, funding and information campaign and the AIDS Information and Awareness Centre was the documentation and information centre for AIDS public education. Other collaborating institutions include the Norwegian Health Association. The aim of the AIDS awareness campaigns in Norway was to raise awareness and knowledge about AIDS and provide information and guidelines for protection with an emphasis on condom use.
