Description
French-language HIV/AIDS prevention and education material produced by APS (Agence Prevention SIDA), set up to plan, co-ordinate and manage a decentralized AIDS prevention strategy in the French-speaking community. The organisation worked with the NGO, INFORSIDA to run mass media and information campaigns for the general population. Items include sitckers, condom packs, illustrated passports, booklets, reports on campaigns, leaflets, periodicals and newspapers and including material for people with HIV, young people and promotion of condom normalisation. The majority of the material is written in French but does include a typescript English translation of some documents. File also includes newsletters and an evaluative report on the effect of HIV education programmes on secondary school children from 1988-1991.
