DescriptionPapers relating to the EC project 'A-6', a COST Programme that ran from 1993-1997 and was set up as a European cooperation and exchange project for research and researchers in the field of drugs and drug abuse. Virginia Berridge was one of the UK researchers involved in the project and the files contain her correspondence, newsletters, notes and workshop literature from the programme. This includes her own presentation from the 'Exploring the Differences' workshop in Oslo, Norway on the 25th- 27th October 1995 and a draft presentation entitled, 'The History and Development of European Drug Policies', delivered at the Wellcome Unit Seminar on 7 June 1994. Along with a report by the group, Evaluation of Action Against Drug Abuse in Europe', dated December 1994.
