Description
Because of the troops being scattered throughout Mauritius during the election riots there was an epidemic of malaria among them. Encloses a copy of the malaria return for the first half of 1911 (Ross/90/11/05) and a blank copy of the case sheet he has instituted for notification (Ross/90/11/06). The epidemic shows the value of draining marshes and other anti-malaria work
