Title
Letter from Arthur Thomas Latchmore to Ross
Date
3/2/1902
Description
He has just returned from Sierra Leone and would like to give his opinion of the mosquito control work. It is too early to assess whether there is a significant decrease in malaria and points out that all fevers are malarial but adds that ML Taylor's work has reduced the number of mosquitoes. He has no doubt that a decrease in the number of cases of malaria will occur but there will remain a reservoir of infection in the hinterland although he always used a mosquito net and never had an attack of malaria.
