Letter from Ross regarding Arthur Dawson Milne's voluntary work

Description
An unsigned copy. Ross says that A.D Milne had volunteered while on sick leave to assist with the malaria work at the 4th London General Hospital without pay, and he went on a month's leave and asked for an extension Sir N.I.C Tirard ''took it upon himself to expel Colonel Milne from his hospital'' which will not encourage others to volunteer. He adds that he encloses an application from M. Nierenstein.
