Description
Discusses blackwater fever in relation to his own medical history. He believes that it is a separate disease to malaria and that an attack confers a temporary degree of immunity. There is very little malaria in Mopea but the white and West Indian population suffer badly from fever, that he believes that most African fevers are not malaria and asks Ross to find the cause of the mainstream of African fever
