Description
He and A Breinl have both had yellow fever and that the precautions which can be taken against anopheles mosquitoes are not effective against Stegomyia fasciata because they bite by day as well as by night and the hospitals do not take any precautions against them. There is a lot of malaria, beri-beri and ankylostomiasis and asks Ross about a district on the Rio Negro where there is much malaria but few mosquitoes
