Description
Regrets that he was unable to see Ross before he left England for Malaya and that during his leave he visited the Fen country and was interested to see the effect of the drainage. The laboratory provided by the Rubber Growers' Association has been held up and that CL Sansom, the Principal Medical Officer, had contrived to have a scheme for the Rockefeller Foundation's providing gone turned down. Explains that Sansom was the man who harassed C Strickland, whose appointment would have been terminated if he had not said that if it were he would keep Strickland on at his own expense to complete his work
