Title
Letter from Cyril Strickland to Ross
Date
1/10/1914
Description
When he arrived in the Federated Malay States in 1912 he reported that he would need five years to thoroughly investigate the biology of anopheles and was told that this would be allowed. Complains that now he has been told that the appointment might be ended after three years, which will nullify the work which he had done in that time, and he also will personally lose as he hoped to present the work as a thesis. Asks Ross to use his influence on his behalf
