Description
Describes his recent trip to Sigur Ghat and says that he was on the point of abandoning the idea of the mosquito-malaria theory because he could find no mosquitoes, when he found Culex silvestis in the jungle and house mosquitoes in a well. He discusses the likelihood of C Silvestis' carrying malaria, includes a sketch map of Sigur Ghat and he has written to the Pioneer to refute an allegation that the malaria parasite does not exist.
