Description
Ross describes the varying results which he obtains from differing types of blood meats from mosquito stomachs, the number of parasites he found in the different specimens and also in blood from patients' fingers but says that he has never seen a sphere give off flagella. He discusses his observations and concludes that the mosquito's stomach must be the natural location of the crescent -sphere-flagella metamorphosis. The Maharajah of Patiala has asked for his services to investigate the fevers in his state but that the government will probably object.
