Title
Letter

Description
Manson says that Ross should pursue the flagellum and that possibly the parasite needs some particular state to develop which would explain some places being malarious and others not. He advises Ross to breathe on his slips and coverglasses as a little additional moisture encourages exflagellation and also recommends stains. He has been told that very little is know about the anatomy of the mosquito.
