Description
Manson has sectioned a mosquito infected with filariasis which he sent home from China some 18 years previously and that he has seen Ross' 'eye parasite' but did not realise what it was. He suggests that the feverish state of a malaria case is to encourage mosquitoes to bite and adds that he has asked the British Medical Journal not to publish his paper as the information in it is stale and he is going to deal with the subject in his Goulstonian lectures. Finally he discusses P Hehir and his work.
