Left London on 2 March 1913, spent a few days in Madrid, leaving on 5th March, travelled by train and carriage to the New Centenillo Silver and Lead Mines at Linares in the Sierra Morena, the owners of which in London had asked Ross to advise their medical staff regarding cases of Mediterranean Fever which had occurred in the place. Went to Cyprus on 20 March at the request of the High Commissioner, Major Sir Hamilton Goold-Adams to advise on malaria. Left on 17 April for Egypt and then Greece, where he visited Copias again on 25 April. He arrived home on 3 May 1913 |
