Reid was actively involved in a number of research projects in the department most notably the effects of air pollution on health, including the study of chronic bronchitis in the Civil Service (GB 0809 Whitehall/06/03/01), health survey of the G.P.O (GB 0809 Whitehall/06/03/02) and migrant studies (GB 0809 Whitehall/06/03/03), as well as his contribution to the Whitehall Study. </dc:description>
