Copy of a letter from KD Erskine, First Assistant to the Resident in Mysore to the President, Municipal Commission, Civil and Military Station, Bangalore Erskine says that the Resident agrees that the Health Committee of Bangalore should be presided over by a commissioned medical officer of the garrison, that he should be a member of the municipal commission and that he can delegate if necessary the practical work to a Health Officer but the Health Officer is not to be the chairman of the Health Committee. The Municipal commission are told to benefit from experience before making the draft regulations into statutory ones. 4/9/1896
