Todd says that cases of tetanus arising out of injuries received at home stations have been brought to his attention by the commandant, Royal Army Medical College and proposes the use of prophylactic dose of antitetanic serum to be administered to men who receive wounds or injuries in England where there in any possibility of their wounds having become contaminated with soil. 25/9/1917
