Copy of a letter from H Hearsey, Principal Medical Officer, Nyasaland (now Malawi) to the Acting Deputy Governor, Nyasaland Draws attention to the fact that, in comparison with the staff in East Africa and Uganda, he and his staff are grossly underpaid and without a clerical staff despite his own seniority over the Principal Medical Officers of the other two territories. He has been asking for this state of affairs to be remedied for several years and he has lost considerably by accepting his post and giving up private practice. Asks that his letter be submitted to the Governor and the Colonial Office 11/7/1910
