  <dc:title>Letter</dc:title>
<dc:description>Kherwana is totally unsuitable for malaria research as there are few cases of malaria and it is too cold for mosquitoes to breed or bite. Describes a halteridium he has found in a dead pigeon, says that he will work on them and Haffkine and Owen are unwilling for him to work at the Haffkine Institute in case the mosquito-malaria theory fails, which worries him as they have great influence over the Indian government. Asks Manson to send him a telegram if the Secretary of State for India will not take action, as he must know to apply for leave or not.</dc:description>
