Letter and copy from Francis Chatillon Danson, Vice-Chairman, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine to Ross The Committee of the School have considered Ross' claim to a pension and have decided against it as no written promise of a pension can be found. The foundation of the Chair of Tropical Medicine had carried with it a pension and as Ross voluntarily resigned from it he had thereby given up the claim to a pension 18/11/1918
