<dc:title>Letter from Herbert James Read, Principal Clerk, Colonial Office to Ross</dc:title>
<dc:description>He has told Sir RW Boyce that he cannot sit on the yellow fever bureau committee without the sanction of the Secretary of State for the Colonies and he feels that the project should come under the auspices of a committee such as the Tropical Diseases Research Fund Committee or the Committee of the Sleeping Sickness Bureau. Boyce had not liked the latter idea and he had then suggested that the Colonial Office need not be represented on the Committee. Points out that Boyce had not put the scheme to the Colonial Office and asks Ross to discuss the matter with WH Lever.</dc:description>
