Papers relating to Workshop on AIDS in Central Africa held in Bangui, Central African Republic Conference papers and reports relating to the 'Workshop on AIDS in Central Africa' held at the Institut Pasteur in Bangui, Central African Republic, 22-25 October 1985. The conference was organised by the World Health Organisation and was the first meeting of African countries on AIDS and provided the first practical case-definition of AIDS to help diagnose it. The papers include a list of participants and the papers delivered at the conference with background material; an English language report on the conference; copy of magazine publication, Laborama, on AIDS and a letter received from the World Health Organisation providing a draft reporting form for AIDS. The majority of the material is written in French with some English and Dutch script. 1985-1986
